Exercises are important part of treatment programme for overall recovery helping to restore functioning.  You may have suffered from accident, soft tissue injury, fracture, or arthritis, exercises are required to regain strength, range of motion or endurance. There are many different types of exercises; it is important that you pick the right type of exercise to optimise it effect and benefits.  

Most people benefits from a combination of :

  • Endurance or aerobic exercises. Example brisk walking, jogging, swimming or training based to specific sports or activity required for work/hobbies
  • Strength or resistance training which will improve strength and muscle bulk
  • Balance or proprioceptive training
  • Flexibility exercises involves stretching the muscles.

Our practitioner will design a personalised and effective exercise programme for you and based on your progression’s exercises will be modified according to your needs and return to fitness. We use Physitrack® software which has several educational pdf documents and exercise videos for the patients. It is the gold standard in home exercise prescription.
